- Silvio started his career as an auditor with Price Waterhouse.
- He has held a valid license to practice Public Accountancy in Argentina's Federal District since 1968, and has held a valid Business Administration License since 1970.
- He is the founder, President, and CEO of Grasil, Inc. and Chief Technology Officer of The Fraud Institute.
- He was one ofthe initiators of hte Digital Analysis trend.  Currently, he is at the forefront as one of the most hands-on entrepreneurs.
- He is a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) and CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner).
- As a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners he has held different positions within the Central Florida Chapter, such as: Secretary Treasurer in 1997-1998, President in 1998-2001, Vice-President in 2002-2003, President and 2003-2005.  He has been reelected Chapter President for 2005-2007.
- He has received a Distinguished Achievement Award for meritorious service in the detection and deterrence of fraud by unanimous proclamation of the Board of Regents of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
- He is a member of the National Health Care Antifraud Association, and an instructor at the University of Central Florida's Continuing Education Department for fraud-related courses.
- In june 2004, he was appointed member of the Accounting Advisory Board of FMU (Florida Metropolitan University).
